The Intelligent Bus Management and Monitoring System Project’s Implementation Note, was signed on January 25th, 2019; between the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
The first phase for the installation of surveillance cameras in the Kingstown area commenced on Monday 6th, January 2020. The other phases of the project for the Windward and Leeward sides of the island are scheduled to be implemented between the first and second quarter of this year. The main implementing agencies of this project are the Information Technology Services Division and Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.
